Camp Guidelines
Last updated: Feb 2021
The purpose of the ZNT Community Guidelines is to create an authentic and safe space to learn and develop value-add professional relationships. Whereas the Zen Camp Pledge is the promise you make to yourself and the ZNT Staff, the ZNT Community Guidelines is the promise you make to everyone in the ZNT Community (e.g. ZNT founders, trainers, partners, staff). A violation of the Community Guidelines can result in suspension, expulsion, or another consequence that is proportionate with the violation.
Diversity - Whether visible (e.g. race, gender) or invisible (e.g. religion, political affiliation), honor the differences of each ZNT community member.
Inclusion - When forming peer groups or posting content, be mindful that you are welcoming everyone, and that others do not feel excluded.
Reciprocity - This is a community; not your personal advisory group. Always aim to add value first. Before asking for what you need, offer to help.
Professionalism - The ZNT Community is a professional space to advance the founders’ entrepreneurial endeavors. Unwelcome advances and/or harassment will not be tolerated.
Privacy - Personal stories and sensitive topics (e.g. personal hardships) will be shared in the Zen In Tech Community. This information must stay within the community. All video sessions, ZNT curriculum, and Slack messages are private as well and should not be mentioned outside the community without explicit permission from the ZNT Program Director.
Safety - The ZNT Community is a safe space: both in virtual settings and at in-person events. Any behavior that jeopardizes the safety of those in the community will not be tolerated.
Please report any violations of the ZNT Community Guidelines to [email protected] and a ZNT Staff member will respond.
ZNT Alumni Pledge
Last updated: March 2020
The Zen In Tech Alumni Pledge is a promise you make to yourself, the ZNT Community, and the ZNT Staff. A violation of this Pledge can result in suspension, expulsion, or another remedial action commensurate with the violation.
As an alumnus in the Zen In Tech Community, I pledge to:
Contribute to an inclusive and collaborative experience that values a diversity of identities, lived experiences, and viewpoints.
Respect the privacy of all cohort members, alumni, trainers, and employees of Zen In Tech. I will not publicly share documents, recordings, or cohort information without the permission of ZNT Staff.
Co-create a phenomenal alumni experience by sharing my expertise with my peers, suggesting ideas, and offering feedback.
Have a bias for action, remembering that the victory is not in the learning, but in taking massive action to apply what I have learned.
Take personal responsibility for my success by focusing on what is in my realm of influence to control, and committing to always doing my best.
Represent the ZNT brand with pride and honor, being mindful of how my words and actions will reflect on our ZNT community.
Share quarterly updates with the ZNT Team. I pledge to complete quarterly intake forms that provide the ZNT team with accurate information about my status as a founder. This information will help ZNT celebrate the strength of the community, share updates with stakeholders, and continuously improve the services provided to the community.
